For 10 years, Lucy has been exploring the streets of Lyon, France, learning the ways of the Lyonnais food and wine scene. She has walked every neighborhood, visited every single one of Lyon's 40 outdoor markets, learned the rhythm of the city, memorized cultural event schedules, and eaten in the city's restaurants, tea houses, brasseries and cafes. She has learned the ways to get behind the scenes, and most of all, has been developing friendships with the people responsible for upholding Lyon's title as the Gastronomic capital of France. Let Lucy guide you on a tour that she develops specifically for you, to show you, to teach you, step by step, what Lyonnais food and wine is made of. If food and wine are your passion, Lucy is your lady. Lucy limits attendance of her private week long tours to a maximum of 6 people.

 

You can expect your tour to include double occupancy deluxe hotel accomodations, cooking classes with local chefs, intimate visits with vintners in Burgundy and the Northern Cote du Rhone regions, boat bookings, neighborhood and market tours, scheduled cultural events, lunch and dinner in Lyon's best restaurants, and of course talks on the history and lore of Lyon's gastronomy and wine in the surrounding regions.
